Realme, the fifth largest Android smartphone brand in the world, continues its growth in the 5G smartphone market. According to the latest data released by market analysis firm Counterpoint Research, realme was the fastest growing 5G Android smartphone brand globally in the third quarter with robust growth in Europe, China and India. realme was able to outperform the market with its 5G smartphone sales up 831% in the same year, overshadowing Xiaomi and Samsung.
Realme’s success in 5G smartphone sales reinforces its goal of establishing itself in the premium segment. Just 24 hours ago, realme revealed its first premium flagship, the realme GT 2 Pro, featuring the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G processor and the world’s first smartphone with a biopolymer design designed by award-winning designer Naoto Fukasawa.
