Last year the TikTok App announced the release of the “Stories“, Very similar to the one already present on Snapchat and Instagram. TikTok: Stories will be displayed in the “For you” Feed
The “Stories” function of TikTok does not seem to have been fully developed yet, yet some interesting news about it has already been leaked. In the camera mode, in fact, the option comes recognized as “Quick”, which means the platform hasn’t found the right name yet. Beyond that, Stories would seem to work just like on Instagram and Snapchat. Photos and videos will then disappear after 24 hours. And all users will have the ability to view shared Stories from public profiles. In short, TikTok is trying to introduce a function already present on competitor platforms.
Meanwhile, Instagram is working to look like TikTok. In the previous days, in fact, the Meta App tested the vertical scrolling of the stories, and extended their duration up to a maximum of 60 seconds. In short, it seems that social networks are quite interested in this content format. Now, in fact, eyes on TikTok Stories. Soon, as anticipated, these could appear with the new design. Users will then be able to view them directly in the “For you” Feed, which would make them an integral part of the social media content.
