iMac Pro with mini-LED display coming March 8
The lineup of devices that Apple will announce at the Peek Performance event should be pretty steady. We should see iPhone SE 3, iPad Air fifth generation, of the more powerful versions of mac mini. And until a few hours ago it was thought they could have arrived MacBook Air with M2 chip and also a MacBook Pro ‘base’, with the new chip.
But the leaker DuanRui would have instead revealed a change of plans at the last minute, or almost. Something not so rare for Apple. In fact it looks like we should see a iMac Pro. Which should have a slim body like last year’s iMacs, or nearly so. And mount a display from 27 inches with mini-LED technology.
The device should leave users the choice between a M1 Pro processor and one Max, with many alternatives in terms of RAM and memory. A device designed for those who work and want a screen on which the graphics really shine.
Introducing this device, along with the Mac minis with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, could postpone the launch of Apple Silicon M2 a giugnor, during WWDC 2022. In this way the Apple could give a central role to the PC world, introducing developers to the new power of the second generation of chips.
However, keep in mind that these are rumors. We will only discover the real line of new devices that will come out of Cupertino next Tuesday 8 March. We will keep you updated on all the news.
