Ubisoft launches the call for the Ubisoft Entrepreneurs Lab thumbnail contest

Ubisoft has published the call for entries to the seventh season of the Ubisoft Entrepreneurs Lab. For this season, Ubisoft’s startup program will focus on two main paths: Web3 and Positive Impact Entertainment. Registrations will be open to startups from all over the world, until the end of March.

Coordinated by Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab, the program aims to support innovative startups they create products e services that have the potential for transform the entertainment industry. The program offers a unique collaboration model, which is based on mutual engagement and knowledge sharing. The selected startups will be able to interface with one wide range of Ubisoft experts.

Entrepreneurs Lab will be divided into two paths:

  • Web3 to promote digital creativity: with more than 5 years of experience in exploring blockchain strategies, in the video game industry, through in-house R&D and partnership with renowned specialists and startups – such as Sorare, which has carried out the largest fundraising in French Tech, and Sky Mavis, developer of Axie Infinity, one of the most successful play-to-earn games – the Strategic Innovation Lab wants to expand its research towards decentralized technology and applications of Web3 in the future of gaming with a dedicated track .
  • Positive Entertainment: Ubisoft is committed to enriching the lives of players with memorable and meaningful experiences. After collaborations during the previous season – such as with Brainleap, which focuses on a better understanding of the benefits of specific game mechanics for players who are prone to ADD or ADHD – the Strategic Innovation Lab is pleased to continue to support startups who explore new benefits of the digital experience, be it education, social bonding, employment or health.

Applications are open until the end of March for startups with a project that tackles the themes of this new season. Selected startups will be offered one workspace at Station F, the largest startup campus in the world. For more information you can consult the official website.
