Released on April 12, the new Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker patch 6.1 comes with a new gameplay trailer.
From April 12 comes the new patch 6.1 for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker
During a recent episode of Letter from the Producer LIVE, SQUARE ENIX announced the official release of the highly anticipated patch 6.1 for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. The date to mark on the calendar is April 12, in less than 10 days! And to pass the wait, the developers have released a new trailer called Newfound Adventure, which will also be the name of the patch.
Version 6.1 will also feature the arrival of the new Duty Support system for A Realm Reborn ™ (2.0) content. Thanks to this novelty, all the dungeons and 4-player trials of the main story will be able to be completed alone together with a group of NPCs. The update also includes revisions to Cape Westwind and subsequent duties. Finally, the developers have promised that the Duty Support system will be expanded in future updates to support the content of Patch 2.x, in addition to content from Heavensward and beyond.
But that’s not all, because SQUARE ENIX has also announced 6.1 will bring back in-game the PvP gear inspired by GARO, the hugely successful TV show in Japan. The fans will then be able to wear the same inspired by the show created by the legendary character designer Keita Amemiya.
Further news was announced with an official press release from the developers. They stated that: “6.1 will include a new Unreal dungeon and trial, Ultima’s Bane (Unreal), as well as the new Unending Codex”.
To conclude, we report that the patch will also introduce a new Ultimate Duty: Dragonsong’s Reprise, and that players will be able to try the side missions called “Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures”, in addition to the new Custom Delivery, coming with the 6.15 update. The Data Center Travel will arrive with patch 6.18 instead.
