Apple announced that from 6 to 10 June will hold its annual developer gathering at the WWDC 2022where it seems that in addition to Apple’s operating systems we will also be able to see at least two new Macs. In fact it seems that the renewed version of MacBook Air is about to debut. Perhaps together with the new Mac Pro chip Apple Silicon.
Apple wants to launch two new Macs at WWDC 2022
The Worldwide Developer Conference has always represented a moment in which Apple tells developers around the world about new versions of its operating systems. So we will discover some news of iOS 16, macOS 13 (even if the numbering is not secure), iPadOS 16 e watchOS 9.
But according to what is reported Mark Gurman there will also be hardware news in its Bloomberg newsletter. “Apple is preparing to launch some new Macs in the coming months,” writes the analyst. “What better place than WWDC? The same occasion that saw the transition from Intel to Apple chips two years ago”.
Gurman continues: “They tell me that there are two Macs that should arrive in the middle of the year or in the first part of the second half. One of them will probably be the new one MacBook Air“.
Apple could show a new model of MacBook Air, probably with a notch for the webcam and display Pro Motion on the panels micro–LED. And in all likelihood it will have the chip M2the new generation of Apple Silicon processors.
But that’s not the only news coming. “Other models in the works include an updated Mac mini and 24-inch iMac, as well as a MacBook Pro entry-level to replace the 13-inch model. And let’s not forget that the new Mac Pro and iMac Pro are in development ”.
Not that there was a need, but Gurman gave us more reasons to follow Apple’s June event. We will keep you updated for any news about it.
