The game definitely took a long time to wait before landing on Switch, but we will finally be able to enjoy it at this juncture as well.

Based on the first impressions of our and international press, the porting of the game from PlayStation 4 to Nintendo Switch took place without sacrifices in terms of general technical quality, which we cannot be happier with, given how interesting the video game developed in the Atlus studios is. . In fact, Aegis Rim can count on several arrows in its bow.
In the first place we have the typical artistic direction of the studio, with hand-drawn characters that seem to be taken directly from a manga, a style that we have already seen and appreciated in other projects of the studio, such as Odin Sphere. Aegis Rim also focuses a lot on narrative, as evidenced by the visual novel gameplay, full of twists and passages that are complex to say the least.
In the game we will have 13 playable characters, engaged in the battle against the Deimos, gigantic monsters completely intent on putting an end to humanity. To face these creatures, the protagonists can count on specially built mechas, a game element that introduces us to the second soul of Aegis Rim, that of RTS.
In fact, during the combat sections it becomes a real-time strategic one, in which we will have to think very carefully about our moves to get the better of the monstrous hordes that will appear in front of us. In short, if you are looking for a complex title with a good narrative, it could be the game for you.
