The new Google Pixel 6a can count on a fingerprint sensor integrated under the display. This is certainly not surprising news given that this sensor is now very widespread among smartphones, even in the low range. To make the news interesting, however, is the sensor model chosen by Google for its Pixel 6a. Here is what Google revealed.
Pixel 6a: The fingerprint sensor will be different from the one used on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
According to the first information, confirmed directly by Google on the occasion of Google I / O, the fingerprint sensor of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro showed lower performance than expected. As a result, Google has chosen to change. The new Pixel 6a will be able to count on an unprecedented sensor with more “constant” performance. At the moment, there are no precise details regarding the characteristics and performance of the new sensor.
The details of the smartphone
The new 6a will arrive on the market (also in Italy, more details at the link below) being able to count on a 6.1-inch display with Full HD resolution and OLED panel. To manage the operation of the smartphone there will be the SoC Google Tensor, the same as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery will be 4,410 mAh.
