There are still at least three months to go before the new leaflets of Samsung, but some information is already starting to leak. Indeed it appears that Galaxy Z Flip 4 can use the new chip in the output of QualcommThe powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip
According to the latest leaks, the new folding Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4 will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. A chip yet to be announced but which is expected to use TSMC’s 4-nanometer processor. Compared to the current top of the range (the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, without the ‘plus’), it should be more powerful. In fact it will have frequencies from 3.19GHz with single Cortex-X2 CPU core, 2.75GHz with C0rtex-A710 CPU core, and 1.8GHz with Cortex-A510 CPU core.
It seems that the device will also have well 8GB in RAMto make you fly Android 12 (with One UI 4.5 available immediately). With this configuration, the first benchmarks report results from 1,277 single-core points and 3,642 multi-core pointsa really powerful CPU.
The other information about the small foldable from Samsung reports really interesting data. The foldable display should be from 120Hzwhile the battery will come to 3.700mAh with recharge from 25W (there will also be wireless charging). The fingerprint reader will be lateral, the speakers will be stereo. It should have a certification IPX8.
At the moment there is no information regarding the configuration of the cameras. But it seems evident that Samsung wants to launch a top of the range in all respects, with a foldable display and a really cool design.
