Hands of hacker on a laptop
L’attack on Italy by Killnet record an immediate response from Anonymous and, in particular, by the Italian division of the hacker collective, which for months had been deployed against Russia after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Here’s what’s happening on the digital front of the war.
War goes digital
Killnet is targeting the website of the Italian State Policeputting it offline, and in response Anonymous knocked out the site of the Moscow police. It is a real question and answer between the two groups of hackers, deployed on opposite sides of the digital war in Ukraine.
The digital war continues. Anonymous Italia responded to the Killnet attacks by knocking out the Moscow Police website. This is a direct response to the attacks on Italian IT systems (largely mitigated by the defense systems of our country) initiated by the pro-Russian collective of Killnet which has attempted to knock out various Italian institutional sites over the last few days.
Anonymous Italia sfida Killnet
They may register in the near future further back-and-forth among hacker groups. Killnet’s activity against Italy is intensifying and after the attacks of the last few days it could continue for the next few weeks. Anonymous has confirmed that it is ready to counter all attempts to attack by pro-Russian rivals blow by blow. We will see what the developments on this digital front will be.
