Having explored virtually every continent on the planet with its iconic species, the team of Frontier Development now focuses on some of the animals send to extinction with the Conservation Pack.
Our Planet Zoo Conservation Pack review
As per tradition, too this new DLC introduces 5 new species of animals from all over the world but united by the fact that they are at risk of extinction. The whole game pack revolves around this latter element, making the player aware of the risks of climate change and the real repercussions it is having for biodiversity.
5 new animals at risk of extinction
The new animals introduced are 5, four animals for fences and one for display: Przewalski’s horse, Amur leopard, saber-horned oryx, siamang e l’axolotl. Each new species brings with it animations, habitats and special needs and it will be necessary to satisfy them all if we want to give these endangered species another chance. Conservation organizations are working to help these fantastic animals and fight climate change, poaching and habitat degradation.
With the new animals also come new unique behaviors and specific to each breed. THE Siamanghi, for example, they can come together in groups and create a real concert of voices, typical behavior of this breed of gibbons. The exhibition species also bring with them new habitats and needs although they do not differ much from the exhibitions we already know.

New objects and style
As per tradition, the expansion introduces others elements of construction and decoration of the scenery. We find well 150 in addition, mainly dedicated to the reintroduction of endangered species into nature and to the responsible management of natural resources. In fact, there is no shortage buildings made with ecological and recycled materials or habitats rich in natural elements such as rocks or wild plants. The new timed scenario
Il The Planet Zoo Conservation Pack unfortunately does not introduce any new main campaign missions but we find a new timed scenario dedicated to the central theme. In this scenario we find ourselves a Turtle Rock, a shelter for wild animals inspired by the royal Gorkhi Terelj national park in Mongolia.
