GeForce NOW finally lands on the new Samsung TVs to improve the gaming experience even in the living room
Samsung (here for more information) announced today the Samsung Gaming Hubthus bringing the native availability of the platform GeForce NOW also on Samsung TVs in 2022. Additionally, this week we announce the SHIELD Software Experience Upgrade 9.1, now available on all NVIDIA SHIELD TVs. This will offer new gaming features that will enhance the GeForce NOW experience. As you know, playing in the living room is an experience that perfectly matches the use of an appropriate controller, so until the end of August, all GeForce NOW users will be able to request a 20% discount on all SteelSeries game controllers.
Also, get ready to kick off the month of July with six new games available to stream starting today, and 13 new games arriving next week, including titles from Motorsport Games that join the GeForce NOW library. These announcements arrive just in time to take advantage of Steam’s summer discounts, available until Thursday 7th July. Today’s launch of the Samsung Gaming Hub brings the best of games from leading game streaming services such as GeForce NOW to Samsung Smart TVs of 2022. Samsung Gaming Hub is a new game streaming detection platform that combines hardware and software to provide a better gaming experience. Gamers can instantly play the biggest games from GeForce NOW and other gaming partners without having to buy a console, download games, or have storage limits. The best Smart TV Samsung combine the latest in game streaming technology with intelligent technology for picture and sound quality. This is to create console-like performance, eliminating the hassle of downloads and worries about valuable storage space or latency.
Samsung Gaming Hub is now available on supported TVs in the US, UK, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Germany and Spain. GFN members can then stream their PC games to the app GeForce NOW su TV Samsung. The latest SHIELD update, Software Experience Upgrade 9.1, takes living room play to new levels. During gaming sessions or video conferences, NVIDIA SHIELD now automatically switches TVs with automatic low latency mode to “game mode”. Then restore the previous setting when playing streaming movies or TV shows. This latency saver feature simplifies the experience and avoids the process of having to find the TV remote, change the mode setting, and reset it after gaming sessions are over.
Another new feature is the night listening mode, which allows users to stream games or watch movies at night without disturbing others. SHIELD will automatically adjust sound levels for loud explosions, quiet dialogue and everything in between to deliver a consistent listening experience regardless of volume settings. The update also includes microphone notifications that help identify which microphone is turned on when multiple devices are connected. Whether it’s playing from the cloud with GeForce NOW or playing an Android game locally, the latest SHIELD update helps its users get the most responsive living room gaming experience.
Earn rewards with SteelSeries
GFN members can take control of the game with a 20% discount on SteelSeries controllers. THE SteelSeries wireless game controller bring the PC gaming experience to any platform, ensuring an easy pairing process and extreme battery life of up to 50 hours of playback. It’s easy to get membership rewards for cloud streaming games. Log into your NVIDIA account and select “GEFORCE NOW” from the header. Then scroll down to “REWARDS” and click the “UPDATE REWARDS SETTINGS” button. Check the box in the dialog box that appears to start receiving special offers and game loot. July starts with a bang. GFN ended the month with six new games streaming this week, including games from Motorsport Games. 13 instead the games arriving from July on the cloud streaming platform.
