Nintendo also revealed that as this date approaches, i related services will cease to function:
- From August 29, 2022it will no longer be possible to use one Nintendo eShop Card to add funds to an account in the Nintendo eShop for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS. However, it will still be possible redeem download codes until March 27, 2023.
Nintendo recommends all consumers to use the funds in the balance of the Nintendo eShop of Nintendo 3DS and / or Wii U before the ability to purchase content ends on Monday, March 27, 2023.
Users who link funds of their own Nintendo Network ID (used in the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS shop) with funds tied to your own Account Nintendo (used in the Nintendo Switch shop) can use i shared funds to purchase content on any console and system up to March 27, 2023.
