On the occasion of the virtual event Wizards Presents, Wizards of the Coast announced thearrival of new innovative products over the next few months. This is a series of projects that aim to expand the Hasbro gaming portfolio of which Wizards of the Coast is a division. Here are the details:
Wizards of the Coast announces the arrival of new products
The Wizards Presents event was an opportunity for Wizards of the Coast to present several new features coming over the next few years. The company announced thestart of the One D&D playtest to which users can sign up via DnDBeyond.com.
This is the next generation of Dungeons & Dragons, which will include updated and backward compatible rules with the 5th Edition and aims to offer a digital experience for Dungeon Masters and players.
Among the new publications there will also be Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen, a D&D adventure set in the world of Krynn. Also noteworthy is a series of initiatives related to Drizzt’s 35th anniversary with new covers for all Legend of Drizzt novels and webcomic Drizzt Family.
Note that Wizard of the Coast has also announced several new releases regarding Magic: The Gathering which in 2023 will celebrate its 30th birthday with the event Magic 30 scheduled at the Las Vegas Expo between 28 and 30 October.
