Big news coming from Meta planning to establish a division to manage a real Customer Service able to provide assistance regarding company services and, above all, to moderation policy content. Here are all the details:
Meta will have its own Customer Service to make its work and moderation more transparent
To meet the needs of users, Meta prepares the launch of a Customer Service. This new business division, which should work on a global scale, will focus, in particular, on aspects related to content moderation, providing information on the company’s social policies.
At the moment, it is not yet clear what the exact work of Meta’s Customer Service will be and how users will be able to contact him (via web, by telephone, etc.). The project is still in an early stage of development and it will be necessary to wait for the next few weeks to find out more.
Certainly, the choice to establish a service of this type is linked to the willingness of the company that manages Facebook and Instagram to offer a direct channel to users who will be able to obtain all the information relating to the moderation and management of their own contents.
The new Customer Service will be more complete than the pilot project launched in the past and available via chat. This service, in fact, allowed users to be able to recover the account in case of loss of their password or to solve other problems of this type.
