Good news for Apple users. The company has officially announced that iOS 16 e watchOS 9 will be available to all users with compatible iPhone and Apple Watch models next time September 12. As we know, the update premiered in June, and has been beta-tested with app developers and members of the public beta program in recent months. Now, however, it will finally be available to all iPhone owners.
iOS 16 and watchOS 9: the release is set for September 12th
As we have already anticipated for some time, iOS 16 is a rather important update of the operating system, which brings with it quite interesting features. These include a completely redesigned and customizable lock screen, the ability to temporarily change iMessage and much more. Thanks to the new iMessage option, in particular, users can now edit messages for up to 15 minutes after they have been sent. And they can cancel sending it up to 2 minutes after they may have accidentally sent it.
In other major apps such as Mail e Safari, Apple is also improving features such as Spotlight Search. And it’s adding new ones, such as the ability to cancel and schedule sending emails, shared tab groups, Safari access keys, and more. Apple Maps is also acquiring noteworthy features, including multi-stop routing and support for transportation cards. Options that you can finally try starting from September 12th, assuming you have an iPhone 13 or earlier. watchOS 9instead, it will be compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and later. At this point, we just have to wait for the updates to become available.
