Dyson has announced the three winners of the Italian James Dyson Award 2022. This is the annual design and design competition that Dyson reserves for the so-called “problem solvers” of the future. Here are the three projects, which have a particular focus on health, awarded by the Italian edition of the competition and which are now preparing to participate in the international version.

Three projects have been awarded by the Italian version of the Dyson competition. For further details on the individual projects, you can click on the links at the end of the article. The first place of the new edition of James Dyson Award is awarded to Argo.
This is an innovation that aims to increase the autonomy of swimmers with disabilities by signaling the turn and orientation in the pool through a vibration system. The project was developed in collaboration with a visually impaired swimmer. Second position for the James Dyson Award 2022 goes to L.B Drone. It is an adaptable and remotely controllable lifebuoy drone that aims to simplify rescue in the open sea.
Third position, finally, a VERB, multifunctional walker for elderly people for home use that simplifies the transport of objects and guarantees the possibility of sitting independently. The Italian projects that have conquered the first three positions will now access the international stage of the competition. The winner will be announced on November 16th.
