La startup fintech Revolut confirmed that he had undergone a hacker attack which has exposed the personal data of tens of thousands of users, who nevertheless represent 0.16% of users. The company has already emailed all users whose data has been exposed.

Revolut, which has a Lithuanian banking license, matters at the moment about 20 million users: so 0.16% are about 32 thousand people. However, in the communication to the Lithuanian authorities, he allegedly said that 50.150 users would have suffered the damage, including 20,687 Europeans and 379 Lithuanians.
Revolut did not say what data was stolen, however it assured that no funds were touched. Revolut also announced that the hackers could use phishing scams against customers i whose data was stolen, pretending to be Revolut itself. So he pointed out that he won’t text or call asking for logins and access codes.
