Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that Motive Studio (the company’s proprietary software house) would be working on a “New Iron Man game”. The videogame will be part of the renewed collaboration with Marveland it may not be the only title coming.
The announcement comes via a post on the official EA blog dated September 20, 2022. The release states that Motive Studio is currently also working on a remake of Dead Space.
The new Iron Man game will be a third person single player
In the post EA revealed that the new Iron Man video game will be a single player action-adventure video game with third person view. Below are the words of the company:
“Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games, the game will feature an original storyline that draws on the rich history of Iron Man, harnessing the complexity, charisma and creative genius of Tony Stark and allowing players to embody Iron Man.” The game is currently in pre-production and it will be just “the first of several new titles in collaboration with Marvel”.
The development of the game is entrusted to Olivier Proulx, former game director of Guardians Of The Galaxy. Proulx will be joined by Ian Frazier – creative director of Star Wars: Squadrons and lead designer of Mass Effect: Andromeda – e Maëlenn Lumineau. The latter worked for Ubisoft as the production manager for Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
