The virtual reality viewer from TikTok’s parent company is about to arrive in Italy
Pico 4, the new virtual reality viewer from TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, is about to hit the market. The official announcement came in these hours. The new viewer will be available starting next October 18th and will be marketed in Italia as well as in various other European markets, in Japan and South Korea. This is therefore a particularly ambitious project.
From a technical point of view, the new Pico 4 is based on the processor Qualcomm Xr2, a new platform created by the American company for virtual reality. The headset also integrates 8 GB of RAM memory. Note that the viewer will support “pass through” which will allow you to switch from virtual reality to the real world in a simple way.
The new Pico 4 represents the (early) answer to the new Meta Quest Proviewer that the company that owns Facebook and Instagram should launch during the event on October 11th.
