The partnership between TCL – popular consumer electronics company – and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). For the third consecutive year the two entities will collaborate for BAFTA: A Life in Pictures, an annual event to celebrate film culture. This year the initiative sees the collaboration of Baz Luhrmannmuch appreciated director and producer, fresh from the recent success of the biopic Elvis.
BAFTA: A Life in Pictures will be held tomorrow, Friday 30 September, at 195 Piccadilly in London.
Baz Luhrmann, TCL e BAFTA insieme per “A Life in Pictures”
The event will celebrate the long and illustrious career of Baz Luhrmann, a master of storytelling and a pioneer of pop culture. All through an interview of about 90 minutes, supported by TCL Mobilein which the director will be able to tell his interdisciplinary versatility, between cinema, opera, theater, events and music.
An event already known to TCL which, as mentioned, has been collaborating with A Life in Pictures since 2020. The two previous editions, both very successful, have hosted two great actors: Daniel Craig e George Clooney.
Returning to Luhrmann instead, his first successes in the world of cinema date back to 1992, with the Red Curtain Trilogy, Strictly Ballroom. Then follow Romeo + Juliet (1996) and the Academy Award at the beginning of the new millennium, with red Mill (2001).
