The new realme 10 has all the potential to become a new example of how realme knows move with exceptional balance on the quality-price ratio of a smartphone. A balance too often ignored and which has accustomed us to disproportionate figures in the world of tech. Let’s reverse the normal order of a normal review and start right from the price, € 279.99 for this realme 10.
Apparently a great price that becomes excellent when compared to the technical characteristics of this smartphone, which we are now going to discover!
Our review of the realme 10
The realme 10 is one smartphone android di entry-level which, despite this categorization, boasts a number of features that make it a great smartphone for everyday use. A screen Touchscreen and 6.4 inches and one 2400×1080 resolution make it a model worthy of the competition together with a camera composed of two 50+2 Megapixel sensors able to record video in fullHD a 1920×1080 resolution. In support of this we find alarge 5000mAh battery and a really great design.
But let’s start in order.

Design
We have already anticipated the noteworthy design of realme that this time has outdone itself by giving us two colors, Clash White and Rush Black, which change shades and nuances when hit by light for interesting light effects. In general, the realme 10 presents itself excellently with resistant materials and a “square” design but without being visually heavy. Weight is also not a problem physically as we are dealing with a smartphone 178 grams for 8 mm thick. It is very solid to the touch and maintains a good grip, thanks also to the transparent protection included in the package.
Il Displey Super AMOLED da 6.4″ it is large and bright but characterized by anachronistic frames which, especially in the lower part, stand out. Also present the notch of the front camera on the upper left corner. On the right side of the smartphone we find the power button with built-in fingerprint reader and volume management buttons. In the lower part however, theType-C charging inputthe audio output and an input survivor Jack da 3,5mm for headphones.
The back of the smartphone houses two large rear camera lenses and the flash, quite discreet and small by contemporary standards.
Technology
Of excellent quality, again without overdoing it, the technical sector of the smartphone. The realme 10 is in fact powered by a processore Cortex-A76 and from one chipset Helio G99 MediaTek. We are facing one of the most recent but certainly not the most performing chipsets, designed, among other things, to support 4G devices. Indeed, the realme 10 it does not have 5G connectivity with the consequent drop in network performance that derives from this choice. On the other hand, all the functions of the smartphone take place smoothly and flawlessly and it is able to manage multiple processes simultaneously without ever slowing down. We also find 8GB from RAM e 128GB from internal memory expandable via microSD.
The AMOLED screen at 6.4 inches with FullHD resolution boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of illumination and is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. These are average characteristics in line with the profile of the smartphone. Audio side, we have only one speaker who does his duty without particular notes in favor. In this model it is also possible increase volume up to 200% although the audio quality suffers.
On the realme 10 we find the Realme UI 3.0 based are Android 12 which guarantees good customization between technical and less demanding settings. It all concludes with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for SuperVOC fast charging gives 33 Watt.
Camera side
As for the camera we notice a slight step back from the main models. Return the 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor ma loses the ultrawide camera. On the other hand we find a second sensor (inexplicably as big as the main) but with just 2MP which acts as a depth sensor…pretty irrelevant. There front camera instead counts 16MP which allows you to capture true-to-life color and fine detail with theClearFusion algorithm
Our proof of realme 10
For this review, we had the new realme 10 on trial for about two weeks during which he supported our daily communication tools. Starting from design, the smartphone boasts an excellent style, given both by the shape and by the truly suggestive color (in our case Rush Black). We did not find it particularly manageable perhaps due to the squared shape but all in all, nothing unmanageable.
For what concern technical side, we were faced with a good performing smartphone without touching very high points. The performances have always been top notch and we never encountered any issues that marred our day-to-day experience. The defects are noticed, as always in the details, in which a certain slowness is noticed if one moves quickly between the various menus and apps.
In general, the features offered are in line with an entry-level smartphone but are slightly higher than the asking price, which is really competitive.
Thumbs down for the camera
A separate discussion must be made for the camera, really too far behind the competition even in this level. There 50MP camera works very well in the presence of light and the night mode does its job. Overall the photos are of good quality and will give you satisfaction. We tested the camera on a trip to Venice and the result made us happy.

The speech changes in the side video which does not exceed i 1080p quality and even in situations of great brightness, it does not show video quality in line with the competition. At the same time, the stability has not left us satisfied and you have to go down to 30 fps for a minimum of stabilization. Honestly, we expected more.

The review of the new realme 10 in a nutshell
Despite the few flaws, the realme is a decent smartphone that becomes a great smartphone when compared to the price: 279,99€ which, at the time of writing this review, they are down to 229,99€. These are numbers not to be ignored that can guarantee us a good smartphone without necessarily shelling out an enormous amount.
The realme 10 is in fact designed for those users who do not have specific needs, who are not content creators and are not professional players. This is a good quality, mid-range smartphone that offers everything you need in a device and boasts the latest technology and updatesboth in terms of performance and safety. Elements not to be underestimated.
