The development program of iOS and iPadOS in version 16.2 continues. Apple has, in fact, released the fourth public beta. All users can download the new beta version of the software to test, in preview, the new features coming with the next stable update of the two Apple operating systems.
iOS and iPadOS receive beta 4 of version 16.2
The new update for iOS and iPadOS is available to the public. Among the novelties we find the app Freeform which allows a group of people to work on a single virtual whiteboard from multiple devices. For iPads there is also the support for external monitors for the Stage Manager function which aims to maximize multitasking. Also note one new Home app as well as a long series of innovations and optimizations.
Apple, according to rumors in recent weeks, should release iOS and iPadOS versions 16.2 to all users during mid-December. The fourth beta just released, therefore, could be the last of the development program. The next update being rolled out by Apple should therefore be represented by the stable version of the two OSes. More details will surely arrive in the next few days.
