Powered by dual-core Intel Celeron processors, the series includes the 2-bay TS-262 and 4-bay TS-462 models. Both models feature one 2.5GbE port and two M.2 PCIe slots for SSD caching, delivering faster data access and transfer speeds to power various storage applications. In addition, a PCIe Gen 3 slot is available, allowing you to expand NAS functionality with a variety of QNAP PCIe cards. Multimedia content stored on the TS-x62 can be streamed throughout your home, and viewed directly on your TV or monitor thanks to the HDMI 2.1 output.

The TS-x62 series features the latest version of QNAP’s QTS operating system, QTS 5.0.1, which provides users with a faster, smoother and easier experience. QuMagie, the smart AI-enhanced photo management app, can now be enhanced by installing Edge TPU (optional purchase). QTS 5.0 also supports TLS 1.3 to improve security and performance by automatically updating QTS and applications to ensure your NAS is running in optimal conditions.
Support for Plex allows TS-x62 users to stream media files to mobile devices, DLNA devices, and TVs using common media streaming devices such as Roku, Apple TV (via Qmedia), Google Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV. Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS 3) offers various backup options such as secondary cloud backup, local external drives and remote NAS.
