Samsung has unveiled the new ISOCELL HP2 in these hours. It is a new photographic sensor from 200 Megapixel destined to play a leading role in the future of the mobile phone industry. The ISOCELL HP2 sensor, in fact, will most likely be integrated into the photographic sector of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to be released in the coming weeks. Here are the details.

The new ISOCELL HP2 from Samsung presents 200 million pixels by 0.6 micrometers integrated into a 1.3-inch optical format. The sensor supports the pixel binning Tetra2pixel and can convert to a 50 Megapixel or 12 Megapixel sensor. There is support for 8K video recording at 30 frames per second. Note the integration of the new QPD technology that improves focus, especially in low light conditions.
Samsung, for the moment, has not provided particular details on the marketing of the new one ISOCELL HP2. The sensor, in any case, will soon make room on the market. The official debut should take place in February, on the occasion of the arrival on the market of S23 Ultra. The Korean house, we recall, will present its new smartphones on February 1st.
