Sony decided to expand its range of cameras pan tilt zoom (PTZ) with two 4K models with integrated AI analysis: SRG-A40 and SRG-A12.

Smart automation: PTZ automatic framing and excellent images
What’s new is Sony’s built-in PTZ auto-framing technology with AI analysis, which includes optimal framing options for close-ups and full-body or head-to-head shots. Also noteworthy is a lamp tally user-friendlywhich allows users to easily identify which camera is in use and the movements to be tracked.
Also both SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 use a sensore CMOS Exmor R™ very sensitive for HD 4K 30p and Full HD 60p images. As for the zoom, SRG-A40 features the technology Clear Image Zoom which doubles the optical zoom from 20x to 30x in 4K or 40x in Full HD, while the SRG-A12 mounts a zoom of up to 12x.
Plus the new models offer 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP connectivityin addition to remote control via VISCA/VISCA su IP, using a single network cable for power, output and control. Another insider tip, include Power over Ethernet Plus Plus (PoE++) to integrate the cameras into new or existing environments.
Simple setup and operation
The cameras are simple to set up and use: with the image setup file feature, users can configure and duplicate menu settings between cameras themselves. In addition, motion synchronization allows for quick movement to a targeted location, with a maximum pan/tilt angle range of ±170°.
Last but not least, the virtual webcam driver software can go up to five cameras connected to multiple tools using a computer.
