Apple is almost ready to start production of its first AR headset, a model that has been in development for some time and is now close to its debut. A new report confirms that the Cupertino-based company has selected a key supplier for its next headset and has now completed almost all preparations for the start of production. A new report confirms that Apple has chosen Luxshare, Chinese company specializing in the computer industry, as one of the main production partners for the creation of the AR viewer. In particular, Luxshare will take care of the assembly of the headset, playing a key role in the program that will lead to the arrival on the market of the device.
Note that aFoxconn could also work in parallel to Luxshare, guaranteeing Apple the possibility of diversifying production as much as possible. The new viewer will be able to count on a chip made by TSMCwhich already deals with the creation of Apple Silicon chips, as well as components of Sonyas far as cameras go.
