If you’re here because Hype isn’t working and the app is down, don’t worry, it’s not your problem. Several users from all over Italy are complaining of disruptions in the payment network owned by Banca Stella, and the situation is currently far from resolved.
Specifically, it appears impossible to pay by card and access to the app is blocked. Web/desktop access also suspended.
Hype doesn’t work: suspended payments and app down
Those who are trying to access the app and the web service see a generic warning appear that reads “There was a problem. Try again”. Others see their login credentials not recognized, but also in this case, don’t worry, it’s a generalized problem.
The issue of cards is even more problematic, given that payments in shops don’t work either e online. In fact, several users are complaining about the refusal of transactions. In this case the error that appears is “Your payment has been declined”.
At the time of writing to you – at 3.11 pm on Friday 28 April – Banca Stella has not officially acknowledged the problem. There is no mention of the disservice on the social profiles of the credit institution.

Please I had 200 euros on hype it won’t let me log in anymore I tried in every way, I changed the password 3 times, I contacted support but nothing.

Since this morning I can no longer access my account. I am told that the credentials are incorrect.
Reading around it seems that many others have this problem.
