From what we see in the trailer – which you find below – the game features various colorful characters who compete in arenas. The big news is that instead of the classic bullets, players fight with foam shots! Exactly, you got it right. a shooter meets foam party.
The foam has multiple functions: it allows you to slide quickly on the ground, create obstacles and shelters, hit enemies from high positions and defeat them with foam shots.
At the moment the developers have not announced an official release date for Foamstars, but they have promised news in the near future. We just have to wait and get ready for the frothy party!
In addition to the games, yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase also unveiled Project Qthe working name of the Sony’s new portable device. It is a console with an 8-inch display that allows you to stream PlayStation 5 titles. Sony unveiled the project at PlayStation Showcase on Wednesday, explaining that it is a accessory for the PS5 and not a standalone console. The Japanese company has not yet communicated the release date and the price of the portable device.
