Aruba PEC: how to use the QR code via webmail
To use this fast access channel, just open the Aruba PEC app from the device associated with the mailbox, choose the item “menu” and then “QR Code”. This will allow you to access your PEC box from desktop even faster and without the need to remember and re-enter your login credentials.
The benefit for Aruba customers who have the Aruba PEC app active is that they can access their PEC mailbox directly from their desktop and without having to log in again, since it is through the app installed that, by scanning the QR code, you can complete the authentication flow without the need to enter credentials.
To authenticate with the QR code via the Aruba PEC app, two-step verification must be active, i.e. one of the two steps necessary to update your PEC in a European key. Soon, in fact, it will be possible to use the PEC in Europe for the ssafe exchange of communications with legal value and thanks to this important evolution, the identity of the holder of the PEC box will be certified. This further guarantee will be added to the already existing ones, such as the integrity of the transmitted content, the certain time and date of sending and receiving a message and the evidence with legal value opposable to third parties.
