Google announced a significant expansion of Bard, its AI-powered virtual assistant: Starting today, Bard is also available in Italyin Italian and in many other languages around the world.
This expansion will allow users to interact with Bard in more than 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi and Spanish. In addition to geographic expansion, Google has introduced new features to improve user experience.
Google Bard, the Mountain View AI arrives in Italy
On its blog, Google explains: “Curiosity and imagination are the forces behind human creativity. From a child inventing a game, to a group of friends dreaming of a trip together, to a person with a new business idea, the ability to imagine new possibilities is one of the most innate characteristics we have. That’s why we created Bard: to explore this curiosity, empower the imagination and allow ideas to evolve, helping people to shape their creativity”.
Bard arrives in Italy and throughout Europeafter Google communicated its AI principles and additional measures to protect the privacy and data of those who use this generative artificial intelligence.
These updates reflect Google’s ambitious and responsible approach to artificial intelligence, as defined in its AI Principles. Google has worked in partnership with experts, legislators and regulatory bodies, including data protection supervisors, to ensure that new features comply with user data security and privacy principles.
In addition, Google has created a new Bard Privacy Center, which collects information about your privacy controls in one place. This demonstrates Google’s ongoing commitment to protecting people’s data and privacy.
Many different innovations for Google’s AI
Debuting in Italy, many new features arrive for Google Bard. The new features announced include the possibility of listen to Bard’s answers, also understanding the correct pronunciation of words. Also, comes the multiple responses feature to offer more complete solutions. Google also introduced four new features to Bard, including the ability to pinning, organizing, and editing conversations, using images in prompts, sharing responses, and exporting code to various contexts.
With this expansion and the introduction of new features, Google is dramatically improving the user experience with Bard, allowing users to interact with the virtual assistant in a more personalized and versatile way.
