Electrolux Group, world leader in the household appliances sector, confirms once again its commitment to offer efficient solutions that can make the difference in order to optimize the use of resources. TO IFA 2023 models will be presented for the first time EcoLine: this is a dedicated selection that includes all the main product categories, created to help consumers reduce their climate impact while providing them with exceptional performance.
Electrolux Group focuses on EcoLine at IFA 2023
Based on the scientific approach of the Electrolux Group and the metodologia Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)over the entire life of an appliance, approx 85% of its global climate impact is generated when it is in use. For this reason, with the aim of reducing the climate impact and at the same time providing exceptional performance, all EcoLine models have been designed to always be used easily and easily, at maximum efficiency, respecting the strictest ratings required by the brand energy labels.
EcoLine Electrolux Group: superior to the best class A
The new EcoLine selection includes a series of products designed for the whole home:
· In the washing sector, EcoLine will present models of washing machines which have an energy class higher than the best class A on the market, equipped with functions that allow optimizing the use of resources. AutoDosefor example, allows you to save detergent, while Ultrawash washes at 30ºC efficiently, saving 30% energy.
· The heat pump technology of dryers EcoLine saves up to 68% more energy than a traditional dryer.
· I ovens EcoLine preserve minerals and vitamins using up to 20% less energy thanks to steam cooking, and are equipped with a steam cleaning function that saves up to 95% energy compared to the pyrolytic one.
GfK research shows an increased demand for energy savings from consumers
The presentation of the EcoLine line comes at the right time: the recent data from theglobal market research institute GfK in fact, they show how energy efficiency is the main reason that drives consumers to purchase large appliances, such as washing machines for example. In the survey period between the second quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, 61% of consumers in the five largest European countries said they considered energy efficiency as a decisive factor in choosing a new washing machine.
EcoLine Electrolux Group mostra in AEG’s SaphirMatt induction hob is a world premiere
At IFA 2023, AEG’s innovative SaphirMatt induction hob with scratch-resistant glass will also be presented as a world premiere. The exclusive ceramic glass SaphirMatt it can withstand daily use and abrasions without scratching. In fact, it resists scratches four times more than a standard glass ceramic hob and is twice as quick to clean. It’s also the only cooking surface with a matte black finish, which also has the benefit of being 80% less reflective than a standard surface.

Electrolux Group will hold a press conference at IFA 2023, scheduled in Berlin, to present its latest innovations, including the EcoLine selection. The event will take place on 31 August 2023 at 13.00 CET at the AEG stand, hall 4.1, number 101.
