Devil play at home IFA Berlin 2023: The German company showed us several very interesting new products in its shop in Bikini Berlin, where it also has its headquarters. From smart bluetooth speakers to concert speakers, passing through software solutions to compensate for hearing losses from Mimi’s partners.
Teufel at IFA 2023, all the audio innovations presented in Berlin
Teufel’s shop in the Bikini Berlin shopping center next to the German capital’s famous zoo is a temple of audio. Arriving a few minutes early for the press event, we saw staff at the flagship store test-drive speakers and audio systems with powerful subwoofers. There is always some tune in the air.
The Teufel team there has made a lot of music heard from its new products (with a preference for the Foo Fighters) and also immersed in the surround sound of the home cinema rooms within the facility. An experience that, they explain to us, customers of the brand also experience when they want to choose the perfect audio product. Although leave 8 weeks to make returns also from the site, because every environment is different and you have to test the audio at home, to be sure of the quality.
But in the midst of all this audiophile experience, Teufel hasn’t forgotten who the protagonists are: i new products announced at IFA 2023.
Motiv Home, simple and quality streaming
The first device we heard during the touring presentation in Teufel’s shop was the Motiv Home. A sound system WiFi of high power, enhanced by a broad range of streaming options, including Apple Airplay and Google Chromecast. The handle makes it easy to transport and a built-in battery allows up to 15 hours of autonomous playback. Quality music everywhere: the rich audio impressed us, despite the rather small size.
With two front and two side speakers, combined with a front-mounted subwoofer and two passive membranes for low frequencies, the effect is of truly impressive quality. Also, the function Dynamore Ultra allows you to get a wide virtual stereo panorama.
The system supports streaming via WiFi and Bluetooth connection and allows you to expand the audio experience to more rooms thanks to to the integration of additional devices equipped with Airplay or Chromecast. You can connect with Airplay 2, Spotify Connect (incluso Spotify Connect Hifi), TIDAL Connect, Chromecast e Google Home.

Teufel presents at Effekt 2 at IFA
Teufel also announced Effect 2, a new iteration of the universal rear speaker, featuring wireless management. The device is compatible with the vast majority of cinebars manufactured by Teufel, as well as with the active speakers Ultima 40 Active and Ultima 25 Active/Aktiv (which we will tell you about).
The very elegant design with black and white color options really impressed us. They remain very discreet, with an LED display that turns off automatically. Furthermore, the power cord is now detachable, thus contributing to greater convenience.
The two-way configuration of the acoustics has resulted in an increase in maximum volume and greater power in the bass, with a more immersive and enveloping surround sound. This device can also be used as a surround expansion set, operating wirelessly up to a distance of 10 metres. This feature makes it suitable for many soundbars in the Teufel line and for the Ultima Active system.
The expected price for the new model is 399.99 Euros for the pair. The launch date is estimated for the fourth quarter of 2023 and the product will be available in black and white colors.

They are therefore excellent for the stereo system for the TV, thanks to the HDMI connectivity: we have had a home cinema experience far superior to what the dimensions would lead you to believe. But they are also great for traditional music playback.
Compatible with Effekt/Effekt 2 wireless surround speakers and an implementation of Teufel Dynamore technology. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity with support for Qualcomm aptX and AAC, along with the ability to listen to FM and DAB+ radio.

The raw power of Teufel Rockester Air 2 at IFA 2023
Rockester Air 2 it has a powerful, party-like sound: so much so that Teufel itself used these speakers for the party at the end of the IFA 2023 event. But it doesn’t give up on portability, while offering exceptional audio quality, with deep bass and clear treble, in able to fill even very large places with music. You can use Bluetooth and connect external microphones, instruments and players simultaneously. The battery lasts up to 5 hours of playback at maximum volume and over 58 hours at medium volume. And we assure you that in a closed place at maximum volume you will not want to get there.

Teufel Real Blue Pro e la partnership con Mimi
It is also interesting to know about the collaboration between Devil e Mimi, which allowed the integration of Mimi technology into Teufel’s Real Blue Pro headphones. Mimi has developed a hearing test (which you can also carry out with the Mimi app and with other audio systems and headphones), which allows you to understand if you have listening problems and then create a unique sound profile.
Once you have purchased the Real Blue Pro, you can download the Teufel Headphones app and carry out a short hearing test. Your unique sound profile takes into account individual hearing sensitivity influenced by genetics, age, lifestyle and environmental factors. This allows you to hear richer sonic details that you might not otherwise be able to fully hear. Mimi explains that it improves what you hear, but without changing the “character” of the headphones (the strong presence of bass, for example).
The Real Blue Pros are already available on the Teufel website at a price of 349,99 euro. But the rest of the news that the Berlin company presented at IFA will also arrive in the coming months and you can buy it online. To bring audio made in Berlin to your home.
