Let’s find out together, in this dedicated guide, how to quickly level up in Baldur’s Gate 3: in which places to farm and which missions to complete first? We’ll tell you, follow us step by step
September is definitely challenging, from the point of view of managing free time to dedicate to video games. The great struggle for supremacy in this late summer month is between Starfield and Baldur’s Gate 3, both devouring hours of life. Especially the latest effort from Larian Studios, which arrived after a rather long gestation period on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S and after a good time in early access, it seems to be so vast, immense and complex to the point of becoming all too difficult to approach by non-fans of the series (and Dungeons & Dragons). And for this very reason we have decided to accompany you in your first hours of play, giving you some suggestions on how to best manage some aspects which, although trivial, could be rather insidious.
How to level up fast in Baldur’s Gate 3?
And let’s start with the level up which, as in all respectable role-playing games, is a decidedly fundamental aspect for every player who approaches the world of Larian. Above all, however, level up brings great benefits for all characters in Baldur’s Gate 3: Physical classes gain extra attacks, while wizards can use their most powerful spells. Objectives that are decidedly fundamental for each player’s journey, for this reason we want to explain to you, in this dedicated article, how to quickly level up in Baldur’s Gate 3. Let’s get started!
Farming spots | Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Level Up Fast
Let’s start with the best places to farm experience points in Baldur’s Gate 3. We can summarize them as follows:
- Goblin Camp (Goblin)
- Shattered Shrine (Goblin)
- Underdark – Spiaggia (Duergar)
- Underdark – Grymforge (Duergar)
- Underdark – Selunite Outpost (Drow)
You will obviously have to look for fights with many easily defeatable enemies. Leave the boss fights for when you are higher level. What you find above is the best path to level up seven or eight times in the space of a few hours: destroy the Goblins both in the camp and in the sanctuary, then move on to the Duergar (you can enter the Underdark directly from the Sanctuary).
Wyll and Gale… and power! | Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Level Up Fast
Further strategies involve bringing as much as possible into our Wyll and Gale raids and always using the highest powered spells and attacks. One of the things that keeps you from leveling quickly is wanting to hold onto resources and power. There are so many supplies in the camps to loot and so much money to give to vendors that you are unlikely to run out of money. Using Wyll and Gale and their more powerful attacks will allow you to clear out enemies even faster!
Easy quests and… spam these saves! | Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Level Up Fast
Leaving aside the missions that can be completed as soon as they are taken, there are some quests that you can complete without necessarily having to deviate too much from your path. In particular:
- Save Liam
- Save Flight
- Bring Halsin back to Emerald Grove
- Salvare Thulla
- Saving the Gnome Slaves
- Help Spaw with the Duergar and Nere
The last trick we want to give you like this, but don’t tell anyone, is… spam the saves. Whenever you have a good fight, good loot or even good turns, save your game and take advantage of your good luck, especially in battles with large groups of enemies or the toughest ones. If the turn is good, save, otherwise reload.
Good fun!
