OpenAI confirmed that ChatGPT will be able to carry out web searches in real time. You will be able to search for current information, offering answers taken directly from “current and authoritative” sources, which you cite in your answers. The functionality, called Browse with Bing, for now it is only open to those who have Plus and Enterprise subscriptions. Despite this, the company says it will roll it out to all users soon.
ChatGPT is capable of performing real-time searches from reliable sources
Microsoft’s Bing Chat on Windows, in the Edge browser, and in third-party browser plug-ins may already return real-time information from the web, as can Google’s Bard in Chrome and other browsers. Both also offer links when searching, as ChatGPT’s Browse with Bing feature now does.
Meta just announced at Meta Connect that it will also use Bing to deliver real-time web results in the Meta AI Assistant it’s adding to WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
OpenAI has added the ability to browse the Internet within its app iOS ChatGPT in late June, but withdrew it shortly thereafter. Users had realized that they could convince the chatbot to provide them with otherwise paywalled content by entering a URL directly to it. Since then, OpenAI’s automated crawler that feeds information to the model that powers ChatGPT has begun identifying itself with a user agent so that sites can filter by its analysis with updates to their file Robots.txt that prohibit it.

ChatGPT speaks and listens, but how?
The ability to speak comes from the implementation of t technologiesext-to-speach e speach-to-text. On one side the user will be able to ask vocal questions to the AI, which will process the audio into text to understand its meaning. On the other hand, artificial intelligence will do the opposite: he will prepare a written response which he will then pronounce orally. All in just a few seconds.
When the new feature is introduced the ChatGPT word will be in English only, so you will have to speak to him (and expect answers) only in English. But OpenAI has promised to expand the international AI vocabulary in the near future.
