Meta’s new social network, Threadshas an arrival date in Italia. In the United States, the platform is already widespread. Here’s when it will be possible to use the social network in Italian territory.

Starting from 14 December 2023 it will be possible to use Threads, the Meta social network related to Instagram. The news was announced by the countdown present on the homepage of the official Threads website: at 12pm on the appointed day it will be possible to use the social network.
Everyone wondered why Threads wasn’t yet available in Italy and Europe in general. The delay arises from the obligations imposed by the Digital Markets Act imposed on the parent company from which the new social network derives. So, it was legally impossible to use it.
Threads arrives in Italy: what it’s about
The new Threads social network, which will arrive in Italy on 14 December 2023, starts from an idea of Meta of wanting to challenge X (ex Twitter) with a platform similar to the latter in terms of type of content and interaction methods. The project initially had the name of Barcelona and P92.
How to use the new social network
Using the new social network is very simple: first you need a account Instagram, of which Threads is closely related. Then you will need to download the mobile app e already available for Android and iOS. Then, when sharing your account with friends and relatives, just search for the word on Instagram ticket. A ticket icon appears in the top right corner of the interface. By pressing it, the card with will appear username and QR code which you can use to share your contact.
