Realme 12+ 5G is the company’s new mid-range smartphone, and it could arrive soon with an AMOLED display and a 4880mAh battery
Realme, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, recently announced its new range of realme 12 devices, consisting of the realme 12 Pro and realme 12 Pro+ models. However, it seems that the company has not stopped here and is already preparing the launch of another smartphone that will expand the family: this is the realme 12+ 5Gwhich was spotted on the website of the Chinese certification body TENAA.
Realme 12+ 5G: main features
The realme 12+ 5G, which carries the code RMX3866, presents itself as a medium-high range device with interesting technical features. Its strong point will certainly be 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and with a central hole that will house the 16MP front camera. The panel should guarantee good visual quality and high fluidity, thanks to possible support for the 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the body, the smartphone will hide an octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.6 GHz. Depending on the variant chosen, the chipset will be supported by 6GB, 8GB, 12GB or even 16GB of RAM and internal memory from 128GB to 1TB. These are truly impressive values, which will make the realme 12+ 5G a smartphone capable of managing any type of application or game without problems.
Cameras
As for the photographic sector, the realme 12+ 5G will have a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP tertiary sensor with a macro lens. This configuration should offer good versatility and quality in photos and videos, although it is not clear whether there will be support for optical or electronic stabilization.
The certification Camera FV-5 obtained from the global model (codes RMX3867 and RMX3868) however showed a 64MP + 8MP dual rear camera, so there could be some differences between the Chinese and international versions.
Realme 12+ 5G: autonomy and availability
Finally, the smartphone will have a 4880mAh battery which will support 67W fast charging. This technology will allow you to recharge it in a short time and always have the autonomy necessary for your activities available. The realme 12+ 5G will also feature 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and an in-display fingerprint reader.
There is no official information yet on the price and launch date of the realme 12+, but it is assumed that the smartphone could arrive on the Chinese market by the end of the month. Subsequently, it should also be available in other countries, including India where it has already obtained BIS certification.
