From Republic of Gamers (ROG) on ASUS comes the announcement of the new Strix SCAR laptop family for 2024. Among which the Strix SCAR 18with optional 18-inch ROG Nebula HDR mini LED display, Intel Core i9 14900HX e GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX fino a 4090 Laptop. But there’s also ROG Strix SCAR 16, with two inches less screen — but a lot of power.
ASUS ROG Strix SCAR, the new line announced for 2024
The Strix SCAR 18 and its 18-inch Nebula HDR display, powered by Mini LED technology, are an interesting novelty for gamers. With beyond 2000 dimming zones and 1100 nits of peak brightnesspromises high-level HDR performance.
The 2024 Strix family has really interesting displays. These are panels from 2.5K, 240Hz refresh rate and GTG response time of less than 3ms. They have a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. There is also Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support.
The design of the Strix series has also been completely revamped, with elements of design cyberpunk ROG. The laptops have an Intel Core i9 14900HX processor, a CPU from 24 core e 32 threadDDR5 memory up to 64 GB and PCIe Gen4 x4 storage up to 4 TB. NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs up to 4090 Laptop ensure top-level graphics performance with Dynamic Boost.
The 2024 Strix family features an advanced cooling system with Tri-Fan technology, and there is also the Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal between CPU and heatsinks.
The Strix SCAR 18 are already available on the ASUS eShop, while the Strix SCAR 16 will be on sale at ASUS Gold Stores at the end of February.
