Nothing Phone (2a) will be officially presented on March 5, however, the discussion regarding the design still remains uncertain
The wait is almost over: the Nothing Phone (2a) will be revealed on March 5th at 12.30pm during the Nothing: Fresh Eyes event, broadcast live on the brand’s official website. We will finally know all the details of the new smartphone, which has been talked about a lot in recent weeks, between rumors, denials and confirmations.
Nothing Phone (2a): A confusing design
The aesthetic characteristics of the Nothing Phone (2a) have been at the center of numerous speculations. Initially, an image circulated online in December showed the phone with two rear cameras arranged vertically, but subsequent leaks suggested a horizontal layout simile al Galaxy S10.
The publication of two “live” photos of the disguised smartphone seemed to have confirmed the horizontal arrangement of the cameras, denying the first image. However, in early February, the image resurfaced with the layout verticalewithout the Glyph interface.
“Fresh Eyes” and a possible solution
The motto of the presentation event, “See the world through fresh eyes“, could be a clue to the final design. The expression “new eyes” could refer to a layout orizzontale of cameras, as pointed out by leaker Evan Blass.
What to expect from Nothing Phone (2a)
Besides the design, there are many other expectations on the Nothing Phone (2a). There are rumors of a processor MediaTek Dimensity 7200a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 4290 mAh battery and 45W fast charging.
Conclusions
Many doubts and only one certainty: on March 5th we will finally have the definitive answer. The price should be less than 500 euros, positioning the device in the mid-range of the market. All that remains is to wait 5 March to discover all the news about the Nothing Phone (2a).
