Why collaborator? Because working alone is not enough.
A mature AI ecosystem requires open collaboration across the industry.
And so to MWC 2024 Oppo has teamed up with vision and motion sensor startup AlpsenTek and Qualcomm to present the trio’s collaborative developments in using hybrid vision sensing technologies with the new algorithm AI Motion.
Developed under the guidance of the Shenzhen company, AI Motion is capable of image deblurring and high frame rate image interpolation for the use of high-speed cameras based on a combination of traditional RBG image and EVS (event vision sensing) motion data. Using AI Motion, smartphones offer advanced solutions to solve the problem of blurring images and photos, enabling slow motion video capture at 960 fps in 4K resolution. Using EVS data to precisely align moving objects between frames improves both dynamic range and resolution. This technological integration opens up exciting possibilities in image and video capture, elevating the potential for creative content creation.
