According to a recent study conducted by Lenovo and IDC, 40% of ITDMs consider AI a “turning point“. The survey reveals that investments are evenly distributed between generative AI (25%), interpretive AI (25%) and machine learning (25%). L'Italia, together with the Netherlands, stands out in EMEA for the highest rate of investments in generative AI already planned (68%). Furthermore, our country experiences fewer difficulties in hiring staff with AI skills.
Massimo Chiriatti, CTO & Innovation Officer of Lenovo in Italy, will speak on Wednesday 10 April on the main stage of AI Week (1pm). According to Chiriatti, artificial intelligence is becoming “one reality for organizations in every sector in Italy”, with many successful cases already present.
However, to obtain high-performance systems, it is essential to pay attention tocomputer architecture. The quality and value of projects depend on the human component, the computing capacity and the competence of those involved in the development, implementation and use of AI.
