Xiaomi could launch a new cheap smartphone: Redmi 13. The first rumors speak of a large 5,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging
Xiaomi seems to want to further expand its smartphone range with a new device called Redmi 13. Its existence was recently confirmed by a certification obtained from the Indonesian body SDPPIwith the model number 24040RN64Y.
Unfortunately, the Indonesian certification does not reveal any technical specifications of the new smartphone, merely confirming the name. However, this same device had already been previously certified by bodies such as theIMDA in Singapore, the US FCC and the European Community (EEC). Thanks to FCC certification we can get some interesting details: the Redmi 13 should be equipped with a generous battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and support 33W wired fast charging.
Redmi 13: Poco M6 4G clone or surprise coming?
The world of Xiaomi smartphones is full of surprises (and sometimes even a little confusion!). The circulating rumors suggest that Redmi 13 could be essentially identical to the Poco M6 4G smartphone, which also recently appeared in several certifications. After all, Xiaomi is not new to offering the same device under two different brands depending on the reference market.
It is expected that Poco M6 4G be launched in India, a market in which Redmi 13 could also arrive. However, the latter has not yet obtained the Indian BIS certificationwhich could indicate a slightly delayed launch compared to its “twin”.
