“There are stories that don’t exist”, the good Maccio Capatonda would say. A user known as Arestame on Twitter has decided to make them exist, bringing the characters of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in the Elden Ring fantasy universe.
Two video games are seemingly light years apart. The first is developed by Nintendo, colorful and cartoony in full Pokémon style, and is exclusive to Nintendo Switch. The second one is an open world fantasy with dark colors from FromSoftware.
The crossover between Elden Ring and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To make the bizarre crossover, Arestame transferred all the assets of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to the Elden Ring game. In doing so, the characters and objects of the Nintendo title (including trainers, Pokémon and game tools) have arrived in the open world of FromSoftware.
Recall that operations of this type are unofficial crossovers, and it cannot be excluded that one of the two companies decides to take legal action and request the removal of the unofficial mod. Meanwhile, however, the result is decidedly alienating. Below you can see with your own eyes Melina and Senzaluce as Pokémon trainers.
It is currently unclear when the mod will be completed and made available for download.
Meanwhile last April another user made a version of Elden Ring for Game Boy.
