After the incredible success on mobile devices, Jumanji: The Curse Returns arriva oggi su Nintendo Switch. The news comes directly from the developer Marmalade Games, below the words of Michael WillisCo-CEO of the company:
“The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world. Making Jumanji: The Curse Returns available on this platform means making the game accessible to millions of people around the world ”. Willis then spoke about the recent title update stating that: “This is our best version of the game. The update has caused downloads on mobile devices to surge and we are now ready to open up to a new audience: that of Switch owners.
The update in question, released last March, introduced new card and deck creation tactics. The result was a + 385% game download.
The launch of Jumanji: The Curse Returns on Nintendo Switch
The game is based on the iconic 1995 film of the same name, and will allow players to visit locations from the film. These will have to roll dice, solve puzzles and face dangerous creatures in-game. Using the Attack and Assistance cards, players can create a strategy to defeat the dangers of wildlife.
Those who decide to play on Nintendo Switch they will receive two maps: Brantford and the winter resort. Players will also be able to team up with their friends in crossplaform mode, which means those who play on Switch will be able to join their teammates on PC (where the game launched in September 2021), iOS and Android. You can also play in multiplayer in local co-op mode.
Jumanji: The Curse Returns is currently available for purchase on Nintendo eShop, where it is currently discounted by 22% for a cost of € 17.99. New DLC will be added to the game soon based on the two films in the franchise.
