AIxGIRLS, the first “female” and free tech camp in AI and Data Science
AIxGIRLS is a training lasting one week in which to dive in the world AI e Data Science through study courses, meetings and open discussions with professionals in the sector. The goal is to make known the technologies of fourth industrial revolutionto direct young people towards the choice of STEM faculty at the end of their high school studies. The tech camp will be held from 24 to 30 July at SIAF the International School of Higher Education.
The creator and founder of AIxGIRLS is Darya MajidiCEO of Daxo Group and President of the 4.0 Women Association. Majidi, who devotes her time to support digital transformation, said:
We must bring out female excellence, cultivating talents through a path of social inclusion that allows young women to feel inserted in an integrated and equal system.
Thus was born the idea of involving, guiding, informing and training the girls who are preparing to make an important decision about their academic career in a preparatory six days for the development of the professionals of tomorrow. In particular, we will give life to the first all-female Camp Tech dedicated to AI and Data Science. This dream has been realized thanks to the support of Fineco Asset Management, which I thank.
Free participation
The Summer Tech Camp is aimed at female students who have completed the 4th upper class and who want to discover the most advanced frontiers ofArtificial intelligence and of Data Science. These systems impact all economic and working sectors: from healthcare to aerospace, from fintech to automotive, from entertainment to tourism.
Participation is free and it will happen through self-application on the official website. They will later be selected 20 girls that will be hosted by 24 to 30 July 2022 in Volterra at the SIAF – International School of Higher Education. Applications must be sent by 20 maggio 2022.
