Alienware turns 25 and presents the new Alienware Aurora that offers maximum gaming power and tool less access, making it Alienware’s most accessible and upgradeable desktop to date. Among the novelties, the Legend 2.0 chassis, with an elegant design that increases the internal volume by 50%, without excessively affecting its overall dimensions.
Alienware Aurora arrives for the 25th anniversary of the brand
This new version of Alienware Aurora is expected for the next few months and will be strong with a revised design, along with many other innovations that make it comparable to the most common gaming PCs. The dimensions will be quite generous, the device will in fact measure 589 x 510 x 225 mm for a weight of 15.5 kg, an element that should play in favor of the internal organization of the various components.
Here are the most interesting features of the Alienware Aurora that have been shared by the company:
- Open layout chassis for better airflow and a thermal solution that makes the system quieter
- As far as four 120mm system fans and liquid cooling liquid cooling options to provide robust thermal architecture
- Toolless design for improved accessibility and premium component options for greater customization: For the first time, Alienware offers an optional clear panel on the left side to look inside and admire a new dark motherboard illuminated by up to eight unique customizable lighting zones AlienFX.
At the moment the company has not provided any details regarding the hardware configuration, but from the published images it is already possible to get a preliminary idea. It is quite likely that we will find ourselves in front of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPU which, after the announcement of Acer Orion 7000, we would see very well coupled to an Intel Alder Lake-S hardware platform, with Intel Core 12th Gen processors, DDR5 memories and PCI-E 5.0 support.
