Las Vegas – On the occasion of CES 2023, the consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas, Dell presented two new Alienware peripherals: the new Pro Wireless mouse and the Pro Wireless keyboard designed for gamers. Throughout the development process, Dell collaborated with over 100 eSports athletes from around the world. Guided by their intuitions, expert designers and engineers have created two advanced peripherals with great performance.
But let’s start in order.
The features of the Alienware Pro Mouse
The new Alienware Pro Mouse delivers the ultimate advantage with 4KHz wireless (0.25ms response time) and 8KHz (0.125ms) wired polling rate technology – a huge step up from most’s 1KHz maximum. part of the mice on the market. Working closely with professional eSports athletes allowed the company to create a rounded and symmetrical design suitable for all grip types and hand sizes. On top of this, the mouse boasts less than 60g for an ultra-lightweight feel. To balance mobility and stability, the design has also taken a step further by incorporating a dongle slot.
From a technological point of view, the mouse boasts exclusive magnetic force plates which allow faster reaction times. More specifically, the mouse offers 650 IPS tracking speed, 50G acceleration, and up to 26,000 DPI.
La tastiera wireless Alienware Pro
Designed for experts, here is the new Alienware Pro wireless keyboard. Competitive gamers need room to move and a key layout that doesn’t hinder performance. That’s why the 75% slim shape of the Alienware Pro keyboard is perfect for gamers looking to save space in competitive games like Counter-Strike 2 without sacrificing functionality or stumbling across unnecessary buttons.
After countless iterations, once again working with industry professionals every step of the way, Dell managed to engineer linear mechanical switches with a precise actuation force of 40g to quickly register inputs while providing satisfying sound. Wireless battery life is also excellent: 72 hours with RGB at 50% or 798 hours with RGB disabled on a 2.4Ghz wireless connection.
The keys are made of a low-friction POM (polyoxymethylene) material, while two layers of silicone remove echo and produce a pleasant deep tone. In addition to the pleasant sound, the keys also have a striking design with a transparent layer to enhance the light guidance of the RGB lights. All keys are also pre-lubricated, but because Dell knows there’s no one-size-fits-all formula, the Wireless Pro Keyboard is designed to support most 5-pin and 3-pin switches, so professionals will have a reliable switch i sets can be replaced easily.
