December has now begun, and with him Amazon Prime Gaming has published its selection of free games dedicated to subscribers to the service. As always, the goal of Amazon’s selection of the month seems to be that of offer as much variety as possible, with games belonging to very different genres, from survival, through sports, up to shooters. In short, practically a title for all tastes.
This month’s must haves
Among the video games to download absolutely in the list we saw in the last paragraph we must certainly mention Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, a remaster of the original title really with all the trimmings. Although the original title dates back to 2010, this polished version of the game still remains surprisingly current, both in the gameplay and in the graphics sector.
Another product to keep an eye on is Journey to the Savage Planet, a space adventure game that will take us to explore a bizarre planet full of as many bizarre creatures. The idea behind the game is to set up a 3D metroidvania and it must be said that the developers have succeeded very well, with a playful core based on fighting, platforming and crafting.
Finally, it is impossible not to dedicate a few lines to Frostpunk, a title that combines the mechanics of a city builder with those of a survival. In fact, the game will put us in charge of a city with strong steampunk characteristics in the middle of an ice age, and it will be up to us to find a way to survive the frost and famine by developing the various urban infrastructures in the meantime.
