Who hasn’t dreamed of eating Kirby? In video games it looks so tasty! Well now it is possible. Nintendo today announced a new collaboration with the US ice cream chain Cold Stone Creamery. The goal of the partnership? Make ice creams inspired by popular Nintendo titles, such as Animal Crossing, Mario and Kirby. We will finally find out what that inviting pink ball tastes like.

Nintendo: three new ice creams inspired by Kirby, Mario and Animal Crossing

The three new ice creams announced are: The Mighty Pink Puff, Superstar Sprinkle Blast e  Island Getaway. Below is the official description of Cold Stone Creamery:

  • The Mighty Pink Puff is a Kirby-inspired creation with strawberry ice cream, strawberries, mini marshmallows and caramel
  • Superstar Sprinkle Blast is inspired by the Mario Party Superstars game. This creation has batter ice cream, yellow cake, blue icing, and rainbow sprinkles
  • Island Getaway, our Animal Crossing: New Horizons Creation, with chocolate ice cream, strawberries, banana and whipped topping

Meanwhile Kirby, just last May, officially turned 30. In February, Animal Crossing: New Horizon took Japan’s best-selling game record with 10 million of copies sold in the Rising Sun alone. Who did the previous record belong to? Well just to Super Mario Bros. We can therefore say with certainty that the three beloved characters really deserved a nice ice cream.
