In its latest report on environmental sustainability – called Apple Environmental Progress Report 2024 – the Cupertino giant has announced a significant milestone: the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by more than 55% compared to 2015.
This represents a fundamental step towards the goal Apple 2030which aims to make the company's entire value chain completely carbon neutral by the end of the decade.

But Apple does not just limit itself to reducing the environmental impact of its operations, but is actively committed to raising awareness among the user ecosystem. In fact, the big bitten apple has various initiatives in the pipeline to inform on crucial issues such as climate change and environmental sustainability. On the occasion of International Earth Daywhich is celebrated on April 22, Apple has launched a special challenge for Apple Watch users.
It's about the Activity Challenge, which rewards those who, on this day dedicated to the planet, complete a workout of at least 30 minutes. The prize consists of a thematic virtual medal.
